About the comic:
/gquit is a fantasy comic that is centered around an unlikely pair of adventurers, depicting their lives, struggles, hilarious fails and plans to take over the world. There will be comedy, drama, some violence (it is WARcraft after all), maybe even a little romance here and there (maybe, don't get your hopes up).
The story takes place in the WoW land of Azeroth. While it might not follow the lore exactly you will see some hints at it. In such a vast universe there have to be so many tales of heroes, big and small, this may or may not be one of those, only time will tell.
About the artist:
Sareena (aka Genny Sachak) is a normal girl who started drawing for fun a few years ago. Completely self taught, she hopes to use this comic as a means to improve while having a good time and maybe even giving a few people something to smile about.
FAQ's
What programs do you use for the comic?
For the art I use Easy Paint Tool Sai. All of the comic work (layouts, lettering, etc) is done in a wonderful program called Comic Life. A lot of the site work is done with ComicCMS and a little help from my husband when I really get stuck (which happens more than I want to admit!).
Is Blizzard paying you to do this?
As much as I would love that, no. I am in no way affiliated with Blizzard Entertainment though maybe one day I can look forward to having someone give me a thumbs up and a cheesy smile for doing a good job. Hey, a girl can dream!
Can I be in the comic??
Maybe! Occasionally auctions, contests and other means of getting your character in the comic will pop up. For the love of whatever deity you hold on high, please don't pester me or you might see a mangled body in the background that looks remarkably similar to someone you might know.
